The Purrrfect Surprise
While online shopping is convenient, it can also be a nuisance. After all, memory can be a little faulty sometimes — especially when it comes to placing orders — and shoppers do return home to find surprise boxes from strangers sometimes! That was the case for this shopper, who came back to find a puzzling package containing one item; a cat jumpsuit. But who bought it for him?
Even this cat owner still does not know to this day. However given the pleased expression on this kitty’s face, we completely can’t eliminate the notion of this cat doing it!
Don’t Forget to Check Dimensions
When you have a pet but a pet store is nowhere in sight: online shopping must be your gastronomic lifesaver. From pet food to toys, treats and everything in-between, online stores like Amazon and eBay are overflowing with options. If you remember anything from reading the internet today, let it be this: always, always read the dimensions! This puppy parent didn’t do that when ordering this bone and then the pet parent quickly realized their mistake.
While this shot of a bone wasn’t that which this pal hoped would appear on their doorstep, we reckon the owner’s hound wasn’t majorly pee’d off! It must have felt like their birthday and Christmas combined.
Unishirt Masters
Clothes are among the most common online purchases. From high-end costumes to practical clothing, you will be able to find something for you to purchase, with most online retailers providing you an astronomical number of measurements to help you pick from. As such, these dudes had zero qualms with ordering this rainbow T-shirt in a small. And so what could go wrong with this thing that they’d done a thousand times before? Well, quite a lot, actually.
But then they were sent an XXXL instead of a small – and let’s just say, it was a bit too big. They at least made a game of it when it did arrive.
“Who Wants a Banana?”
Online grocery shopping is a huge boon of 21st-century life, and needless to say, a service many millions enjoy worldwide. This person thought they were doing the most routine activity in the world by adding eight bananas to their online grocery order, but it appears as though the picker in the store misread it.
They were given eight bunches of bananas rather than eight individual ones! However, they also only paid $0.68 on all of them. Ok banana bread is all the time right
“Bathmats: Find a Solution”
Then surely, the last thing you need is for us to remind you that Jeff Goldblum is a f-k-ing legend. And we definitely don’t have to remind you of Jeff Goldblum from ‘Jurassic Park’, also iconic. However, this couple was quite shocked when ordering a navy bathmat online and received this one, instead. The Killer Klowns have a hell of a lot in common with Jeff — like the rest of us, they love Jeff — but this was not on their wish list (or on their band wishlist).
But they seemed to be pretty okay with their online shopping fail. Well, now whenever they step into the shower they can have this guy and his lack of buttons on their mind. Better still, there are much worse things to dwell on.
Ding Dong Your Order’s Arrived
And since you can literally buy anything and everything online, its kinda cool right? While that does, of course, mean a bunch of people purchasing products on online erotic sites. And most of the time, those people don’t want to know what they’ve purchased – hence forth why most companies supply “discreet packaging.” Well, at least this company did try to do just that. But rest assured, they fumbled it.
Now, one could be all imaginative and say, “hey this gift was just a very stiff banana (or witch’s hat for the possible stoner), but we’re all petty sure we know what that package is.
Don’t Cry Over Spilled Onions
Online grocery shopping is a savior when life happens! Perhaps you cannot go to the supermarket yourself, or you are stuck at home for this reason or that. Here, this particular lady in the UK had to remain home to nurse her sick canine. Which is why they spent £70 on food and figured Deliveroo would just deliver it to their home.
However, the grocery store ultimately canceled most of the items on their order. And when the Deliveroo driver did finally arrive: one lone onion, yes ONE LONE ONION, that their poorly pooch couldn’t eat even!!
The Icing Doesn’t Bother Us Anyway
Welcome to the modern world of convenience, where anything that you need is available to you, practically at the click of a button. Although, yes, even these extraordinary cakes from bakers! This is useful when something tailor made for an event. Now this person was organising a party for a child, they also knew their child would only be satisfied with a cake featuring Elsa. They decided to look for a great online baker and immediately found one which met their needs.
Sadly, it is where you see is not where you get, and where order is not what is served! This here is a sun-damaged Elsa.
Not Axe-Static About This
Raise your hands how many people ordered something from Amazon? If you did, we would not be surprised. This online behemoth supplies millions of individuals every single month and appears to market the most every thing. Yes, even ankle weights! However, despite the general expectation that this woman would receive some ankle weights in the mail, what she actually received was quite another. The real surprise, however, was a box containing Thor’s axe.
And while what she got was nothing like what she ordered, we’d like to think that could still get the job done. We mean come on, we bet this axe is still heavy, even after all that.
Just Can’t Bear It
Over the years, the experience of online shopping has evolved. These days, social media adverts lure us into purchasing products based on our interests and internet behaviour and they sway people every single day. That’s precisely what happened to one BFF when she spied the cute photo above left. And when they spotted the adorable little cat with a bear hat, well, they knew they had to buy it for their best friend’s kitty.
But as you can see, the resident cat wasn’t thrilled with what showed up on the doorstep. However, the switch not only did not fit. it was a whole different product! That’s definitely not a bear.
Still Cute, Though
Moms are just so precious. Now, as any mom knows, they are always thinking of their children and loved ones, not to mention that many moms love to shop when it’s on the internet. Well, most children don’t have an astonishment to appear at their house and discover their mommy ordered a component for them on-line. Maybe some new dish towels, a go-bag of candy, or just a furry friend for their kids to cuddle with. You know, like this lizard!
At least this mom meant well when she ordered this lizard for her kid, but what showed up wasn’t quite what they were all expecting. It all sounds a bit all over the place, but oddly still adorable.
“Might Have Ordered the Wrong Size”
Online shopping has made gift-giving so simple! Why scour the stores trying to find whatever may fit the bill when you could just search for your intended buy online and click away? One couple also knew just what to buy their nephew, which is why they ended up buying this incredible crocodile sweatshirt!
It came and it immediately became clear that they ordered the incorrect size. But it’s not all bad. Nonetheless, it still look sick, and at least he will grow into it!
“Don’t Trust Technology”
Moments like these are rare; we are lucky to live in a world where we know much more and, thankfully, in some ways we know the technology is pretty reliable. While most websites are incredibly secure, it leaves more individuals comfortable purchasing items online (like on Amazon and eBay). The thing is mistakes can happen — and trust us this person found that out for themselves when the Amazon app they were using to buy something (probably a vital) online froze.
They continued hitting the Place Order button as the app burned up on them. What they didn’t know is that the app didn’t freeze as much as they thought and their mailman probably wasn’t too happy with them.
Those Pesky Fiends
If your ordering cheap clothing items you can bet your bottom dollar it was probably made in China. Billions of products, including this T-shirt, are shipped out of China each year, all of which are backed by one of the largest distributors of online products. Whoever ordered this thought they were getting a ‘Friends’ T-shirt, but can you tell what’s wrong with it? Have you just Keep on Looking for it, it will find you.
The TV show title is missing the ‘R’, but that’s not even the cast of ‘Friends’! That’s Jerry, Elaine, George, and Cosmo from the also supercool TV show Seinfeld.
Just Add Water?
There are 2 types of online customers. There are some who research every item down to the smallest details; the specifications, the reviews, and the entire write-up of it. Some are swayed by Facebook adverts and the pictures are to be taken literally. And, as you probably expect, the latter group of people usually experience problems — such as this individual who purchased this rainbow Christmas tree via a social media ad!
With the expectation that they would be receiving a full-size tree, and then ending up with a small tabletop tree. Then again, is it something that expands with the addition of water? Just a suggestion.
Not a Lot of Flower Power
Not only can you order your clothes, and your grocery shopping online but you can also buy flowers online! Wives who need to shove flowers in a vase directly after work but husbands who skip out on buying their anniversary flowers after work? Or just husbands who can’t muster the effort to flower pick at the florist? But one of the disadvantages of buying online is that you are unable to see the product that you are buying with your credit card ahead of time.
That fancy vase of flowers you hope to get on the left, may just end up looking like this on the right. They’re just not the same.
That’s Not Even Close
Normal human beings do rely on the internet for online shopping, specifically for clothing. Most of the time when we do this, we take one look at the model in the image and think ‘thatll be my doorstep soon’ and throw down our cash, no questions asked. And that’s what this guy did, too! They had seen the red dress and for whatever reason felt it was made especially for their next event.

Our Spidey Senses Are Tingling
But if you like a particular film, television show, or franchise, you’ll be able to locate any sort of merchandise on the internet. From apparel to mugs, there is no doubt about it, some retailer is peddling and charging something for your interests. When this ‘Spider-Man’ fan spotted this mask, there was no way they weren’t buying it. Because, really, who wouldn’t want to be able to transform into their favorite superhero?
In fairness to this product, it does appear as if it was designed for children. And this guy looks a tad on the older side of that – so maybe he’s to blame?
“What the Heck, Mom? “
If you have a dog you are almost certainly a little obsessed. Parents of fur babies will stop at nothing to provide their animals with the ideal life, and they’re prepared to spend an arm and a leg on making them as comfortable as can be — when it’s hot out, that is! Then, when the temps began to climb in this person, which their town, they obtained on-line and purchased a doggy pool like the one in the ad above left.
However, the doggy pool that came was just a slight bit too small and this cutie didn’t seem to be very pleased with it. He was hunting for a dive pool, not a foot spa for goodness sake!
So Close, but Yet so Far
Some people really want to buy Kawaii stuffed animals Well, that’s just how this world works, okay. Fortunately for us, the internet is large enough that a section of it is devoted to this, and you can find someone who will gladly sell you a Kawaii stuffed pig. At least that’s what this fellow thought. They thought, OK, I ordered the pig on the left, that’s what will show up in the mail.
More like they received this hyper-realistic pig plushy in the mail they were probably pretty traumatized by, amirite? We don’t blame them. We’re getting a little freaked out by this pig, too.
A Single Pepperoni Pizza
Would you like to know what the greatest form of online order is? Well, it is, of course, an online pizza order. So this service is gonna be available at only many pizza places you get near to you, so This makes it super easy to get our cheesy fix. However, when this person ordered a single pepperoni pizza, they were slightly astonished to have this show up on their doorstep. Yes, there is one pepperoni on there but where is the rest?
But this is not the only thing that could be concerning us. What is that green/gray stuff on the lower left-hand corner of the pizza? Not exactly a cheesy sight, for sure. That looks like mold!
The Big Question, Which One Is Worse?
Where else would you find someone ordering a dozen baby Grinchs for her sister’s baby shower? Thank you, internet. Well, this person found some online, and so they figured they would order them up for the big event. And while she anticipated that they were going to be creepy and weird, like they are in the film, she didn’t expect them to be quite as creepy and weird.
No the Grinchs that arrived were not quite the Grinchs that she ordered. And we literally cannot pick which one we think is worse. Maybe the one on the right.
You Get What You Pay for
The nice thing about shopping online (if you do your research) is that there is always a budget option you can rely on. If you know where to look, you can save some good money, and that’s exactly what this person did when they were looking to buy a new watch. Ultimately they chose this $3 one from Amazon but didn’t quite receive what they expected.
What were they expecting, though — the watch ended up looking like something a six-year-old had sent them What showed up does resemble a $3 watch.
Getting the Pink Claws Out
Internet and online shopping problems are easy to catfished. So much so that they made an entire show out of it! But humans are not the only ones that get catfished by other humans. Now, this is something we all know happens between humans and baked goods, but this poor sod got seriously catfished when they went to purchase a cake for their beloved pooch’s birthday. They wanted the appearance to resemble the image of the left.
The final product ended up being really not much like a dog at all. Why was it also having pink claws? Well, the only thing that appears long and full are the eyelashes. That’s one bonus, we guess.
We Just Can’t Bear It
We could never take a day off if we asked every person on the planet why they were make a specific purchase, online or not. Anyway, we’re not here to ask why one made the decision to purchase a bear mask from the internet. That was their choice, their prerogative, and their error to commit — and they did indeed commit it. What is even more strange, however, was the bear mask the other received — completely different from the one ordered.
Now, to be fair — both of these products are nightmare products in their own way. The left one just somehow looks a bit less real — and thats the scary part.
Fail for the Store, Win for the Customer
For the gamers out there, we all know there is no lack of gaming goodies on the internet. They are sold in most entertainment stores and there is even the option of purchasing pre-loved products on places like eBay and facebook marketplace. But this guy clearly didn’t just want any ol’ PlayStation controller; he wanted a brand new one, which is exactly why he purchased one from GameStop. However, when the package arrived, they realised they had actually been sent four of them.
Now, while this is one major screw up for GameStop, we have to wonder if the recipient had the best of luck on that day. Though, we’re unsure what one dude would do with four controllers.
Time for an Espresso, Gromit
You can buy just about anything on the internet, but that doesn’t mean you should believe everything you read. When it comes to shopping online, you better take time to understand what the hell you ordering. But if you’re ordering a mug to go along with one that you have, make sure to double check whether or not it will work for you!
They didn’t do this, so ended up with a miniature Wallace cup to match her full-size Gromit cup. We suppose this is more of a coffee cup.
The Good, The Bad and the Derpy
In this universe we live in, all of it is real. If you can think of it, someone — somewhere — has probably made it and yes, you can buy it on Amazon! And, of course, that is the case for weirdly misshapen, overblown statues of iconic actors and pop culture characters. This time, someone shopping online was seduced by the Clint Eastwood statue, so they loaded it into their cart.
However, they probably should have made sure it was off before entering credit card information. When Clint arrived definitely did not appear like Clint. More like his lackluster cousin with the abnormally proportioned feet.
A Little Too Sensitive
If you do online grocery shopping, you know it has its upsides. But you will also know that there are some drawbacks to it as well. You can’t expect the minutiae – like if it’s in a security case! – unless you walk into a store and pick out the stuff yourself. Then it appears that whoever plucked that formula out didn’t notice The same with the worker that picked the formula for this customer which then meant them stranded unable to use it.
To be fair to the grocery store worker, that formula is pretty finicky. So perhaps it just was too sensitive to be released from its case! Well, some things require more protection, right?
An Invisible Delivery?
Online shopping is a multi-step process, particularly if you are a frequent Amazon customer. At first, you pick the products you want to purchase, siguiente, you está there to pay. But before they arrive on your doorstep, you need to entrust the Amazon delivery drivers with your package. Granted, a large number of amazon drivers delivers on time and intact. Others however, just miss the mark.
This person returned to an envelope, which hopefully was still whole and intact, only to find it opened. Adding insult to injury, what they purchased wasn’t even in there.
Did Someone Order Some Salmonella?
Many services exist to deliver groceries straight to your doorstep, but Instacart is probably one of the more well-known. While others have found them to be true to their word about prompt and accurate grocery delivery. Sadly, this was not one of those. Whoever packed out this bag clearly wanted to save space and stack all the products upright. Should you be doing that with raw chicken, though? Well, no!
It would leave them with a bag of salmonella and chicken they could no longer use. We can only hope that they simply wrote it off and tossed the whole sack in the bin.
Time to Get the Knives Out
Even with the best research, an order made online may end up faulty, as this story illustrates. This is even more common on places like eBay, where you’re sometimes not just buying from a company, but an individual. This person, meanwhile, decided to spend the first money they’d ever spent school-year nearly-past-novices-living-on-a-budget on nice-ish kitchen knives, only to receive complete and utter garbage in the mail!
The knives they’d received were the same brand but of a much lower quality — and a much lesser price tag than the original order. Time to complain, we think!
We All Scream for Ice Cream
Ice cream cake is best when it comes to cakes. And while others are brave enough to order an ice cream cake on the internet, it seems a bit courage is misplaced here. Well, use this online shopping fail as a warning. You can simply order a dud cake so better to stay away from internet for board. Go to a bakery, buy it at the grocery store, or make it yourself!
This kind of thing went over the heads of this person, who ordered a bear cake — what they got is slightly cute (if you squint your eyes) but NOT what they ordered. At least it’s still a bear, though, right?
This Inhuman Plack Makes Kuman Monsters
The biggest challenge within the online shop is that companies which are cheaper always seek loopholes to manipulate plagiarism. Sure, they cannot replicate the products of the larger and more expensive companies, but they can, and do, replicate their knock-offs with glee! Though typically we see this with handbags and sneakers, some of these companies have apparently now begun to rip-off King.
Sure, it was their own fault they thought they ordered bookmarks, but after ordering gross knock offs they weren’t even able to use bookmarks at all. The faces are strange, and the phrases on the bookmark don’t even make sense!
The Force Is Not Strong in This One
Given the success of the ‘Star Wars’ franchise in the world of ‘The Mandalorian’ and vice versa, it won’t shock you to know that a galaxy far, far away, also features a mountain of merchandise in the online shopping world. That being said, unless you’re prepared to part with over a hundred bucks to Disney for some licensed gear, you’re going to need a more budget friendly way of doing it. This person did just that, but they found out that cheaper doesn’t always mean better. Which usually translates to more creepy!

The Fireys or Alf?
One misguided click here or missed delivery date there can cost online shoppers a pretty penny. And that refund from these dodgy liars is neeeever forthcoming! We do however sincerely hope this customer was compensated in some way or the other. The Labyrinth-themed doll, which cost $55, was purchased from an online seller, but Littlewood said they were a little surprised when a doll that resembled Alf appeared on the property.
This was not only a completely different scale than those photos led me to believe, but it was a completely different character! In short, not a definite online purchase fail.
Not-So-Poshmark
We can agree that there are certain instances of sending an online shopping fail that would not be excusable, like a big company. But what about a person you don’t even know who sold it to you on Poshmark? While this customer felt confident enough to trust the platform as well as the sellers on it, they thought that Vans shoes that they ordered online could at very least offer the basic level. Naturally, they were anticipating used sneakers — and sure, maybe not in pristine condition, however this?
To make matters worse, not only is the packaging of these sneakers in a terrible state, but the sneakers actually appear to be very heavily used and filthy. Ah yes, they almost looked like a scammer!
In the Dog House
We may not have all the ideas, but do believe that life is short and to buy some things in person. I mean, after all, some things you cannot inspect when you buy over the internet, other some things you cannot be sure will fit on this or will do its job. And this is especially true when it comes to a dog bed because you don’t want to find yourself in this awkward position like this person did!
Despite being sold by images of this dog bed on the internet, they were a little surprised when this thing arrived instead. Yes, it looked similar, but the real thing pales in comparison to the photo.
Welcome to Hell, Pumpkin
Today, almost all delivery drivers have to show proof of delivery. All of which every one of Amazon’s delivery drivers need to do, so customers know where their packages were left if they’re not in themselves. Although many customers enjoy how their drivers take care and pride into each delivery, this customer was not thrilled when Amazon snapped a photo of their delivery during a mid-throw onto their porch.
That’s why we think the welcome mat kind of says it all about this whole affair. Hello hell, pumpkin; where packages arrive broken and not containing what you ordered and paid well for!
You Wish You Got What You Ordered
Ironically, in the world of online shopping, there are some companies at the top of the food chain. Typically, change the game, corporations like Amazon and eBay customize for the client and provide everything they need. But then there are other companies that are a little bit lower down that same food chain, and Wish is notorious for being one of them. This person discovered this for themselves when a white suit that they ordered didn’t arrive in the manner they imagined.
You’d better believe this guy WISHES he ordered something else. But I guess Wish doesn’t really make those types of perfectly rational and totally normal wishes come true. Sorry about that.
